Meet Ginny

Published photographer • Southern girl • Mama • Wife • Memory‑maker

Hey, I’m Ginny! I’m a photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina — but my most treasured titles are Mama to my sweet 3‑year‑old son, Brody, and Wife to my husband, Matt, who I’ve been with for 15 years. Born and raised in Durham and a graduate of Meredith College, my southern roots run deep.

I’ve been a professional photographer for 12 years but I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was little. Growing up, I was always taking photos with my dad’s Polaroid and Canon film cameras, documenting life with family and friends. I was also that girl in high school and college who was always carrying around a disposable camera (so old school!) capturing moments of everyone and everything so taking pictures as my job has never felt more natural to me.

Inspiration comes naturally to me. I’m drawn to flowers in every form, bright natural light, bursts of laughter, vibrant color, meaningful connection, beautiful places, and the wonder of childhood. My work is a celebration of life — a way to show my clients how beautiful they are, inside and out, and how precious this season of life truly is.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me playing my acoustic guitar, mixing up margaritas, or out grabbing sushi and donuts. I love a cozy movie‑and‑popcorn night, getting lost in my garden, and cooking or baking something delicious. I love listening to Lana Del Rey and all things 80's and I’m happiest running on local trails, diving into creative podcasts about business and entrepreneurship, or relaxing along the North Carolina coast.

Meet Matt

Hi, I’m Matt Williams. My passion for photography began in 2004 during a study abroad trip to South America, where I fell in love with travel and capturing the cultures, people, and landscapes around me. A few years later, a three‑month backpacking journey through Europe—and the travel blog I kept along the way—confirmed what I already felt: I wanted to spend my life behind the camera, documenting the moments that matter most. When I returned home, I bought a professional camera and dove headfirst into learning everything I could.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering my craft and expanding my creative vision. Today, I provide professional photography services across a wide range of industries—from portraits and commercial branding to fine art landscape work. My images have been licensed and published in magazines, online platforms, and even museums, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to help individuals, businesses, and organizations tell their stories through compelling, meaningful imagery.

I’m a proud North Carolina native now living in the Charlotte area with my wife, Ginny, and our son, Brody. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll likely find me spending time with family and friends, gardening, hiking, camping, traveling, or experimenting with something delicious in the kitchen.
