I am super excited to share this Charlotte NC branding photoshoot I did in a local studio for Jackie, a talented children's book Author.

When I found out that homemade confetti and candy lollipops were going to be included in Jackie's author branding photoshoot in Charlotte I got SO excited! I knew it would be nothing short of adorable. Jackie's sweet personality really shines in these brand photos which will be used in her debut children's book, Time for Bed with Ford & Red.

Incorporating Her New Brand Photos Inside her First Chidren's Book

Matt and I met Jackie through Five West Magazine back in 2016. She is a contributing writer for Midtown Magazine and Five West Magazine and is about to author her first children's book published titled, Time for Bed with Ford and Red, set to release in Summer 2017. This is a huge milestone for her life and for her new brand!

She used one of her new brand photos in the About The Author section of her new book. This adventurous tale follows a young boy and his stuffed bunny through the exciting world of dreams. This book is a tool to help children disband the anxiety that often comes with the night and darkness.

Personality Filled Brand Photos using Colorful Confetti & Lollipops

Jackie had lots of cool ideas for her personal brand photos. She knew she wanted her photoshoot indoors, a simplistic vibe, with childlike props, a white background, and beautiful light. These beautiful brand photos were going to be used in her book and on her new website so they needed to truly capture her essence and personality.

Matt and I knew we could absolutely deliver on her vision. We normally photograph in natural light but this was a really nice change using our indoor lighting setup.

Of course, my favorite photos are the ones with confetti. They make me smile! They are so beautiful and I love the contrast between the white background and ivory dress against the vibrant pops of colorful confetti. Perfect! Cheerful is a great word to describe these photos!

I seriously admire people who are passionate about their dreams and who are willing to go to whatever length to get there. There is something so attractive about those kinds of people and Jackie is exactly that person. She has spent years getting this book ready for publication and I believe this author branding shoot is a celebration and commemoration of that special journey.
