Event Photography for Fall Fashion Show at Boutique in Cary, NC
In September I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph the Peachy Keen fall fashion show carnival for the current issue of 5 West Magazine. It was such a fantastic event and I am so happy I got to be a part of it. I had so much fun and met so many kind hearted and passionate people. The fall carnival was a spectacular night of fun, fashion, and fundraising!
Peachy Keen is a contemporary fashion and lifestyle boutique in Cary, NC where old world charm meets new world beauty. They carry clothes, accessories, footwear, gifts, and more! I love this shop and I highly recommend it if you are looking for something unique.
A Special Fundraiser Event for Duke Children's Hospital
A lot of heart, soul, and dedication went in to making this a very special event. The purpose was not only to showcase Peachy Keen Boutique's chic fall styles but it was also to raise money for Headbands of Hope for Duke Children's Hospital.
Headbands of Hope is a wonderful cause founded in 2012 by Jess Ekstrom. Seriously this girl is just so inspiring! The mission of HOH: For every headband sold, a headband is given to a child with cancer. You can order them online or purchase them at the Peachy Keen boutique in Cary.
A fun braid bar was set up and Salon Saia did a fantastic job making the guests look glamorous before the fashion show started. Ladies purchased headbands of their choice as a donation to help support HOH and Salon Saia styled their hair with the headband any way they wanted. I absolutely loved this part of the carnival. It was so fun and glamorous and what girl doesn't like to get their hair done by salon professionals, right? So chic!
Headbands of Hope has donated to every children's hospital in the United States. I particularly LOVE the sparkle ones as they are so vibrant and beautiful. A perfect addition to any fancy holiday outfit.
Local Celebrities Stopped By the Event
Erica Delong from Bob & the Showgram Mornings on G105, was there too. I loved meeting her as I listen to the show everyday. She took a selfie with me too which was really cool! Here she is pictured with one of the boutique owners and friends.
This was Peachy Keen's 11th fashion show. Music played and guests sipped on delicious cocktails while they watched the models strut their stuff on the catwalk.
Each model wore a different headband with each outfit change which allowed you to get an idea of the various Fall looks that are currently available in the boutique and how they can be styled with the headbands.
The creative director and buyer, Karly, did an awesome job putting this show together. I had a blast photographing this event for 5 West Magazine! As a Charlotte event photographer, I love being able to travel around the state to help businesses and families get amazing photography of their event or celebration.
