As a Charlotte, NC branding photographer, I get to meet so many amazing creative entrepreneurs and small business owners. Sometimes you meet someone and you immediately click! That is exactly how I felt when I met Jenn. We totally vibed from the start!
Jenn has such a positive and vibrant personality and a smile that is so contagious. I also have a very bubbly and outgoing personality so we definitely hit it off right away and had so much fun capturing new brand photos for her lifestyle blog.

We connected online and met for the first time at the arboretum the day of her branding shoot. She was looking for a local brand photographer to take fresh branding photos of her for her website and social media, and I knew I could get the job done and that it would be a great collaboration.
Having professional photos is so important because helps you get more visibility in your business and connect with your dream clients which ultimately makes you more money. Customers want to know who they are buying from so having photos that show your personality is so important when marketing your small business.
The Vision - Fun, Bright, & Stylish Brand Photos
I had a vision going into the branding shoot. I wanted to capture brand images that were fun, bright, and stylish. She brought along several summer outfits and complimentary accessories to the photoshoot and I helped her pick out the outfits that would go best with each location.
I can't stress enough how much accessories (hats, scarves, necklaces, blankets, props, etc.) really really add to the overall look and feel of your brand photoshoot. On-brand accessories bring out your personality that much more. It also gives your hands something to play with so they aren't just dangling in the wind.
I also recommend having your makeup and hair professionally done for your brand photos so you show up feeling confident. Jenn looked amazing and came very prepared which was awesome and that allowed us to get gorgeous and authentic photos.
Branding photography has become such a passion of mine. It is just SO much fun! I love capturing people as attractively and authentically as possible so they can show up confidently online.
I was able to really let my creative juices flow during this photoshoot. There were several poses I knew I wanted to do with Jenn and she absolutely nailed them. You don't have to be a model to get great pictures. Trust your photographer and let them direct you. Jenn was flawless and was a rock star in front of my camera. A true natural beauty!
