As family photographers in Charlotte, we love capturing the special moments of parents and children. I don't get to do too many family sessions in the winter months so it was really fun to get out of the house for the afternoon and capture some magic.

My recent family session with the Board family is a great example of the types of gorgeous photos that can be captured during the colder days of the year. It was a chilly January day and they arrived absolutely stunning and ready to go for photos.

Their outfits were beautifully coordinated without being too matchy-matchy, perfectly highlighting how style and the right color combinations can enhance family portraits.

The kids were so enthusiastic and full of smiles and giggles. We captured lots of great posed and candid photos. My goal isn't to create perfect photos.
